CS 1.6.0 Solution: Run-time error:'13' Type Mismatch, Error 5899 : Metadata file missing or damaged.

I was very busy all these days and had just decided to abandon the blog. But thanks to the encouraging page views I got, I have decided now return. So here it goes..

Counter Strike is a popular game and I think, there is no need to describe it. But before using some 400 MB of your bandwidth, you should really read its review.

Counter Strike Review

Game Pros:
  • No major system requirements.
  • High possibilities of experiments.
  • Nice game-play.
  • Hugely, popular.
  • Playing with others can be a lot of fun.
  • Fairly simple objectives.
  • Various Extras available on the net.
Game Cons:
  • Lacks Story.
  • Killing people as Terrorists won't excite some.
  • The Graphics won't please you much.

If you were searching for a good game that could be played with your buddies and won't be heavy on your system, this is it.

  1. Download Counter Strike 1.6.

  3. Needless to say, the latter option is the add-supported one. Be a little careful of ads.

  1. Open the setup and just click next, next and next.
  2. The download and setup, you would think is a cakewalk. But, it is not that really. Now, these are the problems, not necessarily now but it can sometime later, you would face and I recommend to bookmark this page.
